Worship ministries assist and support in worship services.  Each ministry has a team, or multiple teams, whose members volunteer their time to making sure that worship at Church of Our Saviour is meaningful.

Acolytes serve as torch bearers, crucifers, and banner carriers.  They are involved in the set up of the service, the processional, supporting the Gospel reading, and recessional.  Acolytes can be children, youth, or adults, and they rotate serving throughout the year.

Altar Guild teams serve to prepare the altar for worship.  They care and maintain altar linens, altar covers, brass containers & rails, and make sure the bread, wine, and water are set up for Eucharist.

Family Teams serve at the 9 o'clock Family Service, assisting with greeting, handing out bulletins, seating, bringing the elements to the altar, and the offering.  Whole families or parts families can serve together as a family team.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist the clergy with the sacraments during Eucharist each service.  They must be licensed by the Bishop of the Diocese.

Lay Eucharistic Visitors serve to take the sacramental elements from the worship service to those who are ill or confined.  They must be licensed by the Bishop of the Diocese.

Lectors read passages from the Old Testament and Epistle, as well as the Prayers of the People during worship services. Lector team members rotate throughout the year to perform this important service.

Ushers serve to greet those coming into a worship service by handing out bulletins, assisting with seating and parking, and the offering.  Usher teams serve for a month at a time and rotate throughout the year.
