FRIDAY Conversations in Faith
Fridays, 10:00am ~ Parish Hall
The Rev. Mary Staley will continue a series on Paul’s letters July 29, and August 6. Everyone is welcome to participate in one or both weeks. Please note – the August 6th discussion will begin immediately following the 10am observance of the Feast of the Transfiguration in the chapel. Conversations in Faith discussions on August 13, 20, and 27 will focus on spiritual pilgrimage, and will be facilitated by Ellen Osborne. The group will select topics for September during the August discussions.
High Seas Adventure ITEMS ON LOAN
Please pick up any items you loaned for use during Summer Celebration – they are in the fifth grade classroom downstairs.
ECW First Mondays
ECW 1st Monday Lunch Group: Meets on August 2nd at Timberwood Grill (Rt. 29 North) at 11:30am – please join us!
ECW 1st Monday Dinner Group: Meets at the Boathouse Grille on Rt. 29 in the Seminole Square Shopping Center on August 2nd at 6:00pm. Please contact Stephanie Baker if you would like to attend.
Parish Reception for Mary Staley on August 15th
Plan to mark Mary’s last day with us at a parish reception in her honor on Sunday, August 15th, at 12:15pm in the Parish Hall. Please sign up to bring refreshments in the gathering area!
Back-to-School Collection
Please help us collect basic back-to-school supplies for children staying in the Salvation Army's Transitional Housing Center. Collection boxes are in the chapel and church – thank you!

EYC Tubing on the James: August 4th. 9:30am-4:00pm.
Transfiguration Services: August 6th. 10:00am (chapel), with discussion and potluck lunch following; and 5:30pm (chapel), with potluck dinner following. See ACORN for more information.
EYC Hiking Humpback Rock: August 11th. 10:00am-3:00pm Parish Picnic: August 29th. After the 10:00am combined service.
